When it comes to PE, it’s time to stop outsourcing and start developing your staff.
All TLG-PE CPD is delivered by our MD, Colin Booth. Colin has worked in education for over 12 years and, in all honesty, If he doesn’t know it, it’s probably not worth knowing. At the last count he’s worked directly with over 250 Primary School PE Leaders on a 1-2-1 basis, been involved in more Ofsted inspections than he cares to remember and has delivered CPD in over 30 different counties in the UK!
Colin delivers a range of remote and on-site CPD options for TLG-PE and non TLG-PE user schools. Each CPD session is specifically tailored to meet the needs of the school and teachers in question.

Restore your work/life balance
So, we'll let you in to a little secret. Yes, we will show you the TLG-PE & Steps 2 Summit systems as part of the PE SL CPD session. But is it a sales pitch? Absolutely not.
Our primary objective from the session is to help you to gain a better understanding of the subject leader role and, importantly, manage the requirements of the role without making a negative impact into your work/life balance.
Remember, we have all been where you are and we understand the expectations placed on you. Let us help you reduce your workload and free up a little time to spend away from the demands of teaching.

"Great meeting with Colin last week, very knowledgeable and offered great advice".
Jack Walsh – Peel Park Primary School
"The afternoon with Colin was an eye-opener. Very honest, friendly, very helpful, lots of ideas and continuous support promised. Happy that I found and contacted him."
Beata Kamecsei – Maidenbower Infant School
"Colin came in to our school for a half-day session looking at PE. Prior to the visit he asked what we would like to focus on and gain support with. We decided to look at the sports premium spend and also how we as a school could improve getting the inactive active. Colin was fantastic, he listened to what we do and gave us new ideas that helped us. We have since been ofsted checked and the visit from Colin set us up perfectly. I 100% recommend his help and support. A huge thank you."
Dan Roe - Yewtree Primary School
"I am the newly appointed PE lead and this is also my first managerial role. Colin came to my school and spent an entire afternoon answering all my questions and giving me advice and support.
Colin first helped me with my whole-school curriculum map and then delved deeper into ideas for half termly planning. He gave me clear direction on how to go about assessment throughout KS2. We discussed ideas on how to reach the active 30-30 target as well as how I could support all staff to achieve this long term. Lastly, we discussed how to utilise sports premium, how to measure impact and how to write a sports premium statement for the website.
This was an extremely helpful visit and Colin is continuing to offer support. I would like to extend a huge thank you to him."
Sam McCririck – Fulham Primary School
"Colin came in to our school last week and the service he provided was fantastic. I now know where I need to go with the subject and how I can improve PE and sport around our school. Certainly recommend his service and it's FREE!"
Liam Wong – Whiston Willis Primary School
"Colin came in to do the CPD session at my school. I am a recently appointed subject leader at a very big primary school and I just know I needed some support with raising standards in P.E. in my school.
Colin helped me get my head around the P.E. premium and gave me ideas that would work for my school. He advised me on how best to support teachers with delivering P.E. and the importance of consistent assessment and monitoring.
As a previous review stated, the visit was by no means a sales pitch, but I was looking forward to seeing TLG-PE's programme for delivering P.E. and I have to say it exceeded my expectations by far!
I can't thank Colin enough for his time and support and I'm so happy I took up the opportunity!
Rachel Obiago – Preston Park Primary School
"Colin came to my school for a half day CPD session which was outstanding. The advice and guidance he gave was very practical and supplied me with ideas which can easily and affordably be implemented into the schools PE. I would also recommend every PE leader subscribes to the TLG PE annual system (its a PE leaders dream!).
Moses Karl – Lyon Park Primary School
"Colin came to my school yesterday for the half day CPD and I must say the service was fantastic. As a relatively new subject leader, he opened my eyes to many possible ways to move PE forward. He pointed out key things Ofsted would look at and we discussed the interview process. A main factor of the meeting for me was to discuss his company's planning and assessment tool. The session was definitely not a sales pitch, but after looking at the software they produce, I must say it looks fantastic and is something we will be investing in. Looking forward to working alongside Colin and his team".
Sam Watson – Dane Royd Infant & Junior School
"I had a visit from Colin on 16th November. What a very knowledgeable and dedicated professional. We spoke about getting children active and most importantly how to evidence and record this. Lots of ideas and food for thought. Thanks s again".
Fiona Haddock - Wheldon Infant School and Nursery
